Stephen Bray will host an unforgettable evening of Broadway and pop music on the Lied Center stage featuring top Nebraska talent performing his Tony and GRAMMY Award-winning music. Enjoy this thrilling FREE concert showcasing songs from the Broadway musical The Color Purple and selections from his many collaborations with Madonna.

Stephen Bray is a songwriter, drummer, and record producer. He is best known for his collaborations with Madonna and for winning the 2017 GRAMMY Award for the Best Musical Theater Album for the revival of The Color Purple. Bray co-wrote the music and lyrics for this Tony Award-winning musical.

“Having Stephen Bray at the Lied ahead of the season performances of The Color Purple in April 2018 is a dream come true,” says Lied Center Executive Director Bill Stephan. “We are so excited to showcase his varied and popular music on the Lied stage in a concert that is free for everyone in our community to enjoy.”
