Composed of classically trained violist and violinist Wil B. and Kev Marcus, Black Violin combines classical training with hip-hop influences to create a distinctive multi-genre sound that is often described as “classical boom!”

The band has collaborated with top artists including Kanye West, Wu-Tang Clan and Alicia Keys with their latest album, Stereotypes, debuting at number one on Billboard’s Classical Crossover Chart and number four on the R&B Chart. They were named one of the hottest bands at South by Southwest in 2013, performed at Bonnaroo, and consistently sell out their popular shows.

"The duo elicits brilliant music with poignant message for the world."
