Capital Jazz Society: the Kearney Jazz Society

The Capital Jazz Society welcomes the Kearney Jazz Society to the virtual stage as part of their First Friday Series. The Kearney Jazz Society is a jazz combo featuring a collection of music teachers and professionals from throughout central Nebraska who love to get together and play music. The group has entertained audiences since 2013, focusing on jazz standards and drawing on the wealth of musicians found in the greater Kearney area. The KJS started with weekly jam sessions involving area musicians and grew into the performing entity that it is now. The combo is led by Nathan LeFeber, trombone and Chris Stelling, saxophone.

This free event is available to view on the Lied Center Facebook page.
