03.11.17 7:30PM @ - Lied Center Main Stage

Join LSO for an evening of music in a more intimate setting. The concert begins with Maestro Edward Polochick at the piano with LSO’s principal strings players for a performance of Brahms’ Piano Quintet in F Minor. On the second half, picture the birds and sunrise throughout Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll, originally written as a birthday present for his wife. The concert concludes with Aaron Copland’s grandiose Appalachian Spring in its original instrumentation.
