The Friends of Lied is a state-wide volunteer organization that is committed to supporting and promoting the Lied Center through educational opportunities, fund raising, and social activities. Board members from throughout Nebraska serve as ambassadors for the Lied Center and liaisons for artistic experiences to the state. Contributions enable the Lied Center to keep ticket prices reasonable for top-quality programming and to provide an arts education program for all Nebraskans. Membership dues are tax deductible. For more information about becoming a Friend of Lied, contact Donna Seefeld, 402-472-4704.
Friends may join at various donation levels, upwards of $35.00. Each donation plan has its own unique package of benefits, the largest being another year of thrills and spectacles at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. The membership year is June 1- May 31. During the year, members receive invitations to social events, as well as the informative quarterly newsletter, The Lieder.
