Friends of Lied

The Friends of Lied is a state-wide volunteer organization that is committed to supporting and promoting the Lied Center through educational opportunities, fund raising, and social activities. Board members from throughout Nebraska serve as ambassadors for the Lied Center and liaisons for artistic experiences to the state. Contributions enable the Lied Center to keep ticket prices reasonable for top-quality programming and to provide an arts education program for all Nebraskans. Membership dues are tax deductible. MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

Friends may join at various donation levels, upwards of $35.00. Each donation plan has its own unique package of benefits, the largest being another year of thrills and spectacles at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. The membership year is June 1- May 31. During the year, members receive invitations to social events, as well as the informative quarterly newsletter, The Lieder.

Distinguished Friend: $2500+
Private event with selected artist at director's discretion. Premier seating opportunity - first priority. Plus Everything below!
Best Friend: $1000-$2499
Dinner and tickets to a designated Lied Center event. Premier seating opportunity - second priority. Plus Everything below!
Fabulous Friend: $500-$999
Two tickets to "Director's Choice" performance. Premier seating opportunity - third priority. Plus Everything below!
Special Friend: $250-$499
Premier seating opportunity - fourth priority. Plus Everything below!
Great Friend: $100-$249
Advance mailing of the season brochure. Advance purchase of single tickets seven days before the general public. Plus Everything below!
Close Friend: $50-$99
Your name in Lied programs. Plus Everything below!
Good Friend: $35-$49
Subscription to our newsletter, The Lieder. Invitations (in The Lieder) to all social events.

FRIENDS OF LIED EVENTS

Friends of Lied organize many social activities, all open to the public, revolving around performances at the Lied Center. Many of the activities are intended to be "fun raisers" not fund raisers, so only a nominal fee to cover costs is charged.

BRICK PROJECT

The Friends of Lied invite you to buy a brick to continue to pave the way for performing excellence at the Lied Center. Honor special friends or family members, celebrate graduations or weddings, commemorate birthdays or retirements, remember the holidays by purchasing bricks for the Lied Plaza.
