NET Radio’s “Friday Live” arts and entertainment show will feature special performances 9 a.m. Friday, May 15, from the newly renovated Johnny Carson Theater at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. Performers include Lied artistic director and world-class pianist Ann Chang, jazz vocalist Jackie Allen, members of the Lincoln Choral Artists with Director Jason Horner and from the Homestead National Monument’s Tallgrass Prairie Fiddle Festival, performer Deborah Greenblatt.

NET Radio’s Genevieve Randall will also interview the Lied Center’s Executive Director Bill Stephan who will announce the center’s 26th season. The Lincoln Bicycle Art Tour will also be highlighted by guests Launa Bacon of Darger HQ and Peggy Gomez of Tugboat Gallery.

The public is invited to this free event and complimentary coffee and refreshments will be served beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Johnny Carson Theater, just north of 12th & Q streets, Lincoln. “Friday Live” can also be heard at 9 a.m. on NET Radio 91.1 FM or via the NET Radio Nebraska app. Viewers can also watch a live webcast at netNebraska.org/radio.
