The Lied Center for Performing Arts season tickets sales for the 2012-2013 Season are already resulting in near sell-outs for several of this season’s most popular events. Patrons waiting for the mid-August opportunity to buy single tickets to performances including Frankie Valli,  Mannheim Steamroller, Who’s Live Anyway, and the political season spoof Capitol Steps may be faced with limited or no availability of seating.

The best way to get tickets to these performances today is to create a custom season ticket package by selecting any four separate performances. Season ticket holders qualify for early seat selection before single tickets go on sale, as well as up to a 20% discount on ticket prices. The Lied Center ticket exchange policy makes it easy to exchange tickets for a different event if conflicts arise with performances purchased in advance. In addition, season ticket holders are not charged the regular exchange fee for this service.

Creating a custom order gives patrons the opportunity to mix the Broadway style Elvis Lives experience and Chicago with internationally renowned artistic groups such as the Joffrey Ballet. Or build a favorite genre package with fresh musical groups like Gaelic Storm, Terrence Symien and the Zydeco Experience, and the Celtic ensemble Danu.

Selecting four shows from the 2012-2013 Season is easy! With 52 performances of 36 shows from a wide range of categories including Broadway, Popular Music, Comedy, Dance, Classical Music, World & Jazz, Family offerings and Theater there is something for everyone. Over half of the 36 scheduled shows make their Lied Center debut this season.

Season brochures and order forms are available now at www.liedcenter.org or by visiting the Lied Center Ticket Office. A season ticket consists of a ticket purchase of four or more events. The more events ordered, the larger the discount, up to 20% off the regular price.
