With four unique settings available, the Lied Center offers endless possibilities for your special events: from trade shows to tailgate parties, inaugurations, fundraising events and more! Seating capacity ranges from 120 lecture/95 banquet for the Steinhart Room, 250 lecture/216 banquet in the Carson Theater, 400 reception/248 banquet in the Katherine Hendy Parker Lobby to 2210 in the Main Stage auditorium. Lied Center - Main Stage
The main hall seats 2210 people. This number can be increased with the 66 seats of the orchestra pit lift and wheelchair seating.
Steinhart Room
The Steinhart Room is used for meetings, classes, receptions, and even small concerts. The room also features a retractable wall to divide the room into two meeting areas.
Katherine Hendy Parker Lobby
Katherine Hendy Parker Lobby provides access to the balcony seating of the main hall. Also featuring a spectacular view of the UNL campus, this lobby features its own concession area.
Carson Theater
The Carson Theater is a black box theater and is used for smaller productions, rehearsals, receptions, and even UNL dance classes. Portable risers can be arranged to accommodate a variety of seating arrangements for up to 250 people.
