Description of Work: 

The Development Associate coordinates fund raising activities at the Lied Center including individual and corporate support. Actively solicits support from individual, corporate and foundation/grant sources. Responsible for ensuring all benefit fulfillment and recognition for contributions to the Lied Center are provided in a timely manner. Coordinates most non-Friends of Lied development/fund raising functions (dinners, receptions, meet and greets) and assists in broad donor cultivation. The position is the administrative support staff person for the Lied Center Advisory Board. Responsible for compiling and preparing donation materials, keeping the donor database updated with gifts, providing development team with cultivation ideas/donation leads and processing gifts. Evening and weekend hours are required based on events and development schedule needs.

Minimum Required Qualifications: 

Candidates should have strong writing, communication, trouble-shooting, and data management skills, and some understanding/interest in the arts/performing arts.
