Description of Work: 

Coordinate all elements of assigned events for the Lied Center for Performing Arts. Coordination includes all event requirements, such as artist/user contractual obligations, rental equipment, transportation and hospitality. Monitor event budgets and submit costs for event close-out. Coordinate facility tours, ticket on-sales, matinee logistics, event promotions, media events and other activities.

Minimum Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree plus two years’ experience that includes events coordination/management, customer service hospitality, supervision and cash handling experience. Equivalent education/experience will be considered. Ability to negotiate; work with flexible schedule and changing priorities essential. Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary. Must have excellent computer skills, including: spreadsheet, word processing, email, scheduling software and events management software.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Prefer experience in events coordination and management in a performing arts venue or area.

Posted Salary: 
$35,000 minimum
