Description of Work: 

Ticketing Operations & Sales Manager manages day to day operations in the ticket office along with managing proactive sales initiatives. Oversees and is active in processing sales, exchanges and refunds in the ticketing system. Trains and supervises on-call and student ticket office staff and is responsible for handling customer questions and complaints. This individual works with the marketing department in creating outbound sales efforts and managing up-sales. Position works in partnership with development team on donor customer service and plays a major role in maximizing revenue for the Lied Center. Other responsibilities include selling tickets, handling cash and checks, and assisting in processing daily deposits as needed. Position provides clerical support, prepares reports, and maintains supplies. Frequent evening and weekend shifts required with variable work schedule, based on event schedule.

Minimum Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s or equivalent education/experience. Two years of relevant experience working in ticketing required; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience supervising and scheduling staff required. Experience in cash handling, deposit reconciliation and customer service skills necessary. Accuracy and excellent organizational skills required. Strong spreadsheet, email and word processing computer required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Prefer ticketing experience from a similar venue and experience working with ticketing software from a similar venue to the Lied Center. Experience with accounting and managing finances for a large organization, outbound sales efforts and previous sales management preferred.

Posted Salary: 
$40,000/yr minimum
