The Tender Land

The Tender Land

Copland’s quintessential American opera resonates with a musical language born out of our great mid-western landscapes.  Taking place in a Depression era rural community, this tune-filled opera depicts the life of a young girl, her family, and two migrant workers in a coming of age story sure to tug at your heartstrings.
