LINCOLN'S SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AN EVENING WITH MARK MARKHAM

LINCOLN'S SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AN EVENING WITH MARK MARKHAM

LSO’s season opens with Jessie Montgomery’s Banner, her answer to the question: ‘What does an anthem for the 21st century sound like in today’s multicultural environment?’ After Mendelssohn’s buoyant Italian Symphony, internationally-acclaimed pianist Mark Markham returns to Lincoln to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his first concert with LSO, and the 100th “birthday” of Prokofiev’s famously virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 3, with a performance of this passionate masterpiece.

In compliance with Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra policies, every audience member ages 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test taken within the previous 72 hours, prior to being admitted to the venue.
