    More Information:

The Kindler Hotel is Lincoln's first and only independently owned and operated boutique hotel. Like many of our neighbors, The Kindler Hotel is a local story. We are named after Nebraska native Ken Kindler who was a metal sculptor. After Ken’s passing in 2014, his daughter Brooke and her husband, Nick Castaneda, dreamt of bringing a unique hotel option to Lincoln and decided to build The Kindler Hotel in Ken’s honor. The Castanedas' vision was for locals and guests alike to feel like that they were always welcome in this space, as all were welcome in Ken’s home.

The Kindler Hotel offers guests and locals a fresh and unique yet elegant experience in the heart of downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. We offer 45 luxury guest rooms, each with honor bars filled with treats featuring local businesses. The Kindler Hotel offers superb customer service from the moment you book your stay until the moment you head home. Treat someone you love to a relaxing staycation with one of our luxury packages or create your own experience.

The Kindler Hotel was designed by Ross Vincent. Ross Vincent is known for his work from Los Angeles to Alaska and has a keen eye for detail. The design for The Kindler Hotel was inspired from Lincoln’s early developmental years in the art deco era mixed with the modern touches of today’s design features. Vincent incorporated luxury into every area of the hotel and custom designed many of the furniture pieces throughout.
