Hailed by piano legend McCoy Tyner as “one of the great players of our time,” trumpeter Terell Stafford is a fiery trumpet virtuoso with brilliant technique and an electrifying sound. He has performed with the famous Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and has been a leader of the Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia. His collaborations span generations with his blending of jazz and classical with a deep expression of soul.

About Jazz in June  

Jazz in June is one of Nebraska’s longest-running free outdoor concert series and a beloved summer tradition that welcomes more than 20,000 community members each season. Presented in the beautiful Sheldon Museum of Art Sculpture Garden, the series brings nationally recognized jazz artists and exceptional regional talent to downtown Lincoln for unforgettable Tuesday evenings of live music under the stars. 

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Jazz in June is dedicated to building community through accessible arts and cultural experiences for people of all ages, backgrounds, and neighborhoods. The concert series is free and open to the public, creating a welcoming space where families, students, visitors, and music lovers can gather and connect through the joy of live performance.
