Movie Music of John Williams with Keith Lockhart and Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra

The Lied Center is excited to announce that Boston Pops Conductor Keith Lockhart will travel to Lincoln to lead Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra in a celebration of iconic movie music scores by legendary composer John Williams on October 28! The Boston Pops has canceled its Midwest tour, including the originally scheduled October 28 concert at the Lied Center. But the show must go on!

Enjoy the greatest movie musical scores of all time in this special celebration including the music of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park and Raiders of the Lost Ark, accompanied by an out-of-this world light show. Keith Lockhart, who succeeded Williams as conductor of the Boston Pops more than 25 years ago, narrates this special concert with behind-the-scenes stories only he can tell.

Conductor Lockhart says, "I've led the Boston Pops and BBC Concert Orchestras at the Lied Center in recent seasons, and am thrilled to collaborate for the first time with Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra on this very special program showcasing the incredible music of my friend John Williams."
