Jazz in June: Josh Hoyer's Colossal 4

Get ready for an evening of gritty, high-octane soul and blues that’s equal parts Memphis, Motown, and modern fire. Fresh off a win at the International Blues Challenge, the Colossal 4’s sound is raw, authentic, and impossible to resist. Led by Josh Hoyer, the award-winning four-piece band includes Myles Jasnowski (guitar), Mike Keeling (bass) and Mike Rhian (drums). Inspired by the sounds of Stax, Motown, Muscle Shoals, New Orleans and San Francisco, the band continuously crosses musical boundaries both in style and era.

About Jazz in June  

Jazz in June is one of Nebraska’s longest-running free outdoor concert series and a beloved summer tradition that welcomes more than 20,000 community members each season. Presented in the beautiful Sheldon Museum of Art Sculpture Garden, the series brings nationally recognized jazz artists and exceptional regional talent to downtown Lincoln for unforgettable Tuesday evenings of live music under the stars. 

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Jazz in June is dedicated to building community through accessible arts and cultural experiences for people of all ages, backgrounds, and neighborhoods. The concert series is free and open to the public, creating a welcoming space where families, students, visitors, and music lovers can gather and connect through the joy of live performance.
