Two-time GRAMMY winner Kurt Elling has secured his place among the world’s foremost jazz vocalists. The New York Times proclaimed Elling, “the standout male vocalist of our time”. Over a twenty-five year career of touring and recording, Elling has had a 14-year run atop the DownBeat Critics and Readers polls, and has won twelve Jazz Awards for “Male Vocalist of the Year”. 

With the GRAMMY nominated SuperBlue featuring Charlie Hunter, Elling continues on a path of bold collaboration to map out a strikingly new direction, on a project guaranteed to gain new listeners and stretch the ears of his devoted admirers.

University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Jazz in June concerts take place every Tuesday evening during the month of June. Each free concert will take place from 7-8:45 p.m., with a 15-minute intermission.

Beyond the performances, the series will include education outreach coordinated by community centers and artists. A market will offer food and drinks from 5 to 9 p.m. each Tuesday, and Bike Valet will provide free, secure parking for bicycles from 5 p.m. until an hour after each concert at the east end of the market.

VIP tickets include a guaranteed space in the VIP section (you must bring your own chair or blanket). Purchase a season pass and receive a 20% discount on VIP tickets to all Jazz in June events.
