Join us this summer for the Lied Center Piano Academy, July 11-15, 2022! Lied Center Piano Circle, Lied staff, and the Glenn Korff School of Music are excited to host the Lied Center Piano Academy.
- We are planning for an IN PERSON experience following current UNL policy on COVID safety guidelines.
- LCPA is designed for students entering grades 9 through their first year of college, fall 2022.
- Sessions include: Private lessons, Masterclasses, Career- Development workshops, Practice skills, Performance Practice.
- Form life-long relationships with young pianists who share your passion for music!
We are thrilled to welcome back Dr. Paul Barnes as our LCPA Artistic Director. Dr. Barnes is the Marguerite Scribante Professor of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music and has been a part of the Academy since it’s inception.
Tuition for The Academy is $315 per participant. We will also be offering housing on campus at UNL for an additional cost of $205. Need-based Scholarships for the tuition are available!

The Academy Artist for 2022 is Jeannette Fang. Jeannette Fang, along with GKSOM faculty and guest professional teaching artists, will provide young talented pianists intensive training to raise their level of performance, engage in thought-provoking workshops, and help develop life-long relationships with other serious young pianists.
