LINCOLN'S SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA BEETHOVEN’S NINTH

In celebration of Beethoven’s 250th birthday in 2020, LSO triumphantly concludes its journey to perform all nine of his symphonies with the monumental Symphony No. 9 (Choral).Joining LSO onstage are the full forces of a choir comprising the Abendmusik Chorus, Doane University Choir, Doane Collegiate Chorale, and Nebraska Wesleyan University Choir. Paired with the Ninth Symphony will be the premiere of Jake Runestad’s newly-orchestrated work, A Silence Haunts Me, a poignant choral piece with text based on Beethoven’s Heiligenstadt Testament.

In compliance with Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra policies, every audience member ages 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test taken within the previous 72 hours, prior to being admitted to the venue.
