Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra: Inspiration & Courage

After opening with LSO Composer-in-Residence Elena Ruehr’s Broadway Boogie Woogie, LSO celebrates the culmination of her three-year residency by presenting her newly commissioned Violin Concerto No. 3, written for the orchestra and concertmaster Anton Miller. Following intermission, LSO performs Ludwig van Beethoven’s magnificent and heroic Symphony No. 3 “Eroica.”
