LINCOLN'S SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA WHEREFORE ART THOU ANTON?
A violinist by any other name couldn’t possibly sound as sweet! LSO’s evening of stormy and romantic Russian composers begins with Arensky’s Variations on a Theme by Tchaikovsky, then LSO concertmaster Anton Miller takes the stage with Glazunov’s charming and ebullient Violin Concerto. After intermission, LSO brings Shakespeare’s tragic romance to life with excerpts from Prokofiev’s ballet, Romeo and Juliet, and Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Overture-Fantasy.
In compliance with Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra policies, every audience member ages 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test taken within the previous 72 hours, prior to being admitted to the venue.
