Based on the 1975 documentary of the same title, Grey Gardens is the hilarious and heartbreaking musical that tells the story of Big Edie and Little Edie Bouvier Beale, the eccentric relative of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, once bright names on the social register who became East Hampton’s most notorious recluses. With a witty book, gorgeous score, intricate lyrics, and dynamic characters, this tale of family and freedom made a splash on Broadway in 2006, as an instant and beloved classic. The show stars Lauren Silverman Durban and Sandy Van Pelt, and features a talented cast including Kellyn Wooten, Max Antoine, Jim Rowoldt, Bret Olsen, Liem Wills, Chloe Nore, and Dustin Witte. Grey Gardens is directed by Daniel Kubert, with musical direction by Denis Plutalov.
