Pines of Rome-Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra

LSO takes on the full forces of Respighi’s Pines of Rome for an evening of music you’ll never forget. The first half of the program features the symphonic premiere of Brent Edstrom’s Prairie Songs: Remembering Ántonia, featuring Scott David Miller (tenor) and Anton Miller (violin) in an adaptation of Willa Cather’s novel “My Ántonia.” Nebraska audiences will experience the ongoing creative power of Willa Cather in this piece commissioned by The Cather Project, University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
