Praised for his expressive depth, commanding technique, and artistic individuality, 23-year-old rising virtuoso Angel Stanislav Wang has quickly drawn international attention as a rare and compelling new pianist. His major accolades include winning First Prize at the International Rachmaninoff Piano Competition, becoming the youngest finalist at the 2025 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, and at just age 23, he has already earned 35 international awards.
For his Lied Center debut, Wang performs a program featuring Liszt’s Romantic masterpiece Piano Sonata in B minor and Stravinsky’s Three Movements from Petrushka.
