Wisteria By Kwame Dawes

Wisteria By Kwame Dawes

This performance has been postponed and a new date will be announced soon.

“Wisteria” is a collaborative narrative and musical that pays homage to the voices of women who lived during the era of Jim Crow America. Developed by University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor’s Professor of English Kwame Dawes and award-winning composer Kevin Simmonds, this performance celebrates the Nebraska premiere of this new work.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Students, Faculty, and Staff can request free tickets to this performance through the Lied Center Ticket Office.

We've spent the last several months focused on the health and safety of our patrons, artists, volunteers, and staff and preparing to re-open as safely as possible. Learn more about our health, safety, and ticketing policies.
